Jennifer Dunn, CTP

Partner

Jennifer has enjoyed a varied professional life, beginning in the world of mechanical engineering, followed by a 22-year career in banking. She held positions in treasury services product management, technical consulting, sales, and marketing - first with Wachovia, then BB&T. Over the years, she has been active in various NACHA councils, regional TMA organizations, and AFP.

Jennifer’s experience in mechanical engineering included design of industrial HVAC equipment, doughnut-making equipment, and retail store fixtures. She then spent several years selling CAD equipment to large, international tech and manufacturing companies. During her banking career, from each role to the next, Jennifer’s responsibilities always involved some aspect of understanding corporate clients’ financial and operational cash flow processes, needs and goals in order to provide treasury services solutions that would improve the company’s management of working capital.

From engineering to banking, developing product to selling, analyzing needs from simple to complex, Jennifer learned very early on that the key to success as an individual, a team or an organization always included one important factor: listening to the customer. How? By asking the right questions of the right people, listening in a way that you understand what they’re really telling you, then acting on what you’ve heard in a manner that demonstrates understanding.
