The Hartsema Group Story

The Hartsema Group was formed in 2013 with a simple idea – to turn the customer advisory groups that Doug Hartsema had built and led throughout his 30-year banking career into a consulting practice. Since then the company has grown beyond regional bank customer advisory groups to serve payment companies, technology companies, and even the athletic fundraising organizations of national universities.

We’re a four-consultant organization now and have worked with dozens of advisory groups and nearly five hundred advisors. Our simple idea has in fact become a unique and vibrant consulting practice – focused today as we always have been – on connecting our customers to their customers.
